Cymdeithas Diwylliannol a Treftadaeth / Edeyrnion Edeyrnion Heritage and Cultural Society

We are a not-for-profit company that runs the Corwen Museum.  Our aim is to maintain exhibitions on the heritage, culture and bio-diversity of Edeyrnion and the Dee Valley, in South Denbighshire, for the benefit of the public.

The Museum meets this aim by telling the story of Corwen and the surrounding area from prehistoric times to the present day, using interpretation boards and artefacts.  We are open five days a week and we are all volunteers who enjoy sharing the heritage of this beautiful part of North Wales with our visitors.

We are very much a community museum, encouraging  local people to bring in their photographs and artefacts and to tell the stories of their families.  We also have a large number of tourists who visit, many of whom have travelled up to Corwen on one of the Llangollen Railway’s heritage trains,  and we have a permanent Railway Exhibition along with a model railway upstairs in the Museum.
