Graham Edwards, Ceiriog Memorial Institute

Topics: the life of Richard Jones Berwyn, who left the Ceiriog Valley in 1865 on the ship “Mimosa”, with the first Welsh settlers in Patagonia. He became a very influential man and, amongst a large number of posts, was registrar of births, deaths and marriages amongst the Welsh community.

I do not charge a fee ( apart from a small travel cost ) but would welcome the opportunity to allow a collection for a Welsh school in Patagonia (Ysgol y Cwm.)

The talk is available in both English and Welsh
