87 Pilgrim’s Crutch

Hundreds of crutches have been left at St Winefride’s Well in Holywell by pilgrims who had been cured there. The Well has drawn pilgrims for over 1300 years including royal visitors such Henry V who came to give thanks for his victory at the Battle of Agincourt.
