Meeting place – the car park in the village of Trelawnyd at SJ091798, Turn north off the A5151 toHigh Street by the Memorial HallThe walk goes up the road across a field and onto the cairn, the second largest prehistoric mound in the UK, excavated in the late Victorian period it’s purpose is still enigmatic. The walk will return through woods and back to the car park.
