Introduction to Family and Community History

The course will run for ten weeks on Mondays 6-8 pm on the following dates 18 February -22 April

What you will study

-The meaning of family and community history

-Constructing a family tree

-Understanding the census

-Reconstructing the community; urban and rural

-People’s occupations and roles

-The tools and tactics of historical research

-Oral. written and visual evidence

FEES £150

This fee covers attendance and tutorage, including assessment and basic materials
