Aimed at those who have completed our Latin in a Week course or at those have knowledge of Latin to GCSE standard. Read and understand extracts from the poets, comic playwrights and prose writers of Classical Latin literature.
Look at basic Latin verse, scansion and metre, and study selections from texts including Livy, the Pliny Letters, Juvenal’s Satire 3, Ovid, and Virgil’s Aeneid, with a sprinkling of ancient graffiti from Pompeii.
