The event is Corwen and Dee Valley’s Archeological Society’s contribution to the upcoming Gwyl Edeirnion Arts Festival which runs from
August 18th to the 25th.
We have offered to undertake a Test-Pit Day School which will take place on Saturday 18th August.
We will meet at the Sports Pavilion from 8.30am for introductions and registration etc. before we move on
to our test-pit site which is adjacent to the Corwen Day Nursery, this is with the kind permission of Mr & Mrs D Wheeler.
To date there has been great interest from the general public, however, it would be good to see as many CADVAS
members themselves come along and take part?
There is ample parking adjacent to the site and easy access to where we intend to dig
