Next Wednesday, 17th October at 7 pm, the evening heritage talk will be about “The Connahs Quay and Shotton War Memorial”. The speaker will be Mavis Williams, a researcher for www.flintshirewarmemorials.com who has researched the stories of all the names on the memorial from 1914 -1919, as well as some names that were not recorded there.
