An illustrated talk by David Parry for the Corwen and Dee Valley Archaeological Society
A history of the vast expansion of the railway system during the 1860s in the Dee valley and the Wrexham area in particular. It was a time of great social change, and of political intrigue and rivalry between the various railway magnates such as Sir Henry Robertson and Benjamin Percy.
